New York City in happier times

What a difference a year makes! May, 2019. Can’t believe I literally rubbed elbows with probably thousands of people on the subways, 911 Memorial, and strolling up & down Broadway taking pictures for a week…

I can still smell it… yum…
I was a lot closer than six feet when I took this one…
On the Tokyo subway they’d all be wearing masks… They are today, if they’re riding the train at all
Little did he know how sought-after those paper towels would be…
Maybe this was prescient of latter-day “social distancing”
